Screw fittings

CORRECT USE OF SCREW FITTINGS

To avoid any inconveniences that could be costly if fittings are not properly assembled, follow these brief instructions:
1. Mount the parts making up the fitting according to the order and direction indicated in the figures.
2. Insert the pipe and relative rubber seal holder in the pocket of the fitting making sure that this is clean and avoid squashing the o-ring seal.
3. Thread on the nut and screw it by hand as far as possible, then use the appropriate AC 670/AC 671 wrench.

The rubber parts must never be lubricated with mineral oils or greases; the EPDM mix is compatible only with siliconebased lubricants.
As stated previously, to avoid any equivocation, we recommend lubricating the rubber parts with water alone.
For correct use of the fittings, observe the following table for the tightening torque of the nuts according to the type of connection and nature of the pipe.
